This week, I’m positively smitten with… 1. Fixer Upper: I’ve been watching an embarrassing amount of HGTV lately. While I’ll sit through an episode of Property Brothers or Love It Or List It, I’ve quickly become obsessed with the show “Fixer Upper.” It stars husband and wife team Chip and Joanna Gaines. While Joanna finds and envisions a beautiful new layout for homes that could use a little love, Chip, a contractor, transforms them. Then Joanna comes back in and designs the house from top to bottom. The transformations of the houses are remarkable and you can tell this couple not only loves what they do, but they really love each other, too! 2. Startups By Women: I’m inspired by women who go out there and create things. This list from Business Insider has rounded up 39 fantastic startup companies spearheaded by women.
