This week, I’m Positively Smitten with…
1. Audio books: One of my resolutions this year was to read more and I’m better able to achieve this with the help of audio books! On my commute, I listen to books rather than the same songs over and over on the radio. At work, listening to a book helps me get through the occassional mundane task. Right now, I’m finally working on finishing “Anne of Green Gables” (which, embarrassingly, I started reading last year).
2. Lupita N’yongo: Lupita N’yongo, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. You may know the actress from “12 Years a Slave,” a role she recently won two awards for. I couldn’t think of someone more deserving. On top of her acting abilities, Lupita is smart (she knows five languages), stylish (dreamysigh), and totally my new crush.
3. Quirky accessories: I have a pretty interesting collection of earrings and I like to collect the occasional quirky accessory, too. My recent favorite? A headband that says the word “haters.”
